On Wednesday 15th October 2025, Abbot’s Hall, Battle Abbey School, hosted the third AESA Junior Final. Students from different schools across the county came together to perform a selection of English Song for our panel of judges and audiences were treated to works from composers such as Vaughan Williams, Finzi, Clarke and many more, whilst enjoying the beautifully atmospheric location of Battle Abbey. Thank you to ALL our Finalists – the standard was extremely high this year and our Judges and audience were blown away by all performers but a huge congratulations to our winners, Finn, Melanie and Caleb. Thank you also to our wonderful Judges, Linda Kitchen and Alessandro Fisher, for their time, expertise and support throughout the evening, and to George Ireland, who accompanied all our Finalists. Thank you to all volunteers, the AESA team, and of course our wonderful audience! We hope to see you at our May Awards, with more details coming in the New Year.
