Competing in a competition can sometimes cost more than cash strapped young singers and pianists can afford, and with some coming from the furthest parts of the UK, travel fares, application fees and accomodation fees can soon mount up.
We are looking for twelve generous souls to become ‘Ashburnham Angels’, for the six competing duos in the Final, to contribute towards the expense these budding young artists find themselves facing.
We ask for a minimum donation of £25, but realistically more would be very welcome! Whatever the outcome on the night, these young musicians are the stars of the future and it will be fascinating to follow their career as well as satisfying to know that you helped them in some small way (and we will try to arrange for you to meet the singer or pianist you are helping, after the competition).
