2025 Ashburnham English Song Awards:
Our third Ashburnham English Song Awards Final will be held on Wednesday 21st of May at the beautiful Ashburnham Place. You will be treated to eight short, themed programmes of English Song from our Finalists and their collaborative pianists. Our judges include our President, Dame Felicity Lott, and our Founder and Artistic Director, Louise Winter. You will also have the chance to choose your own favourite singer for the Audience Prize. NEW THIS YEAR – The evening will begin at 6:00pm with an informative talk by renowned composer, pianist and broadcaster, David Owen Norris, so get yourselves a drink from the bar and grab your seats!

Singing Masterclass with Louise Winter

Our Artistic Director, Louise Winter, will be hosting a Masterclass at The Stables Theatre in Hastings, on Saturday 3rd of May. Singers will be chosen from applications between three age categories, and will be invited to partake in the Masterclasses, choosing two songs to bring for Louise to work on with them. The Masterclasses are open to the public, and later in the day, there will be a public performance, in which the singers will perform pieces they have worked on with Louise.
