The Ashburnham English Song Awards is now a registered charity No. 1206193. It receives no institutional funding and depends entirely on generous support from individual donations. It is vital that we preserve this rich and glorious heritage of music but cannot do this without the generosity of others. No matter how much is achieved with generosity of time by volunteers, there are always costs which have to be met, and even the smallest donation is a huge help in enabling us to create more events which offer much-needed opportunities for young singers during that important transitional period as they near the end of their conservatoire training and embark on their professional careers.
We are in the process of setting up the ability to donate online. In the meantime, should you feel inclined to support us with a donation, this is possible by BACs (see details below). Unless otherwise requested, a list of donors is given in the programme for the Final of the annual competition.
Major corporate sponsorship is obviously particularly welcome and we will do our very best to publicise the company and make their generous donation known both in the programme and in any publicity.
