Our 2025 Ashburnham English Song Awards culminated in last night’s Final, held at the beautiful Ashburnham Place in Battle, East Sussex. Our audiences were treated to eight performances by our Finalist Duos, who performed their themed programmes of English Song, taking us on journeys through dreams, lullabies, time, love and thristy souls. Each and every performance enthralled audiences and showcased the performers talents. Congratulations to ALL our Finalists, and also to all our volutneers and those who work for Ashburnham, the evening truly wouldnt have been possible without you! A huge thanks to our adjudicators and David Owen Norris for his brilliant opening presentation. And finally, thank you to Louise Winter, our Artistic Director, without whom we really wouldn’t be here!
